The Koreans in MVP PK have beaten BOOT-d[S] 2-0 (16-7 on Mirage and 16-7 on Nuke) to qualify for Toyota Master Bangkok.
MVP PK's road to the final of the SEA qualifier saw them beat Ignis in the quarter-final and OpTic India in the semis before taking on the Singaporean side in the grand final.
MVP PK bested Lucid Dream and BOOM to reach the best-of-three decider, where the two teams fought closely in the first half of the first map, Mirage, before the Koreans eventually cruised ahead, only giving away a single round in the second half.
Next up was MVP PK's map pick, Mirage, with the first half ending even closer than the one on the first map, 8-7. After switching to the T-side, the Koreans were unstoppable and didn't concede a single round, as they won the map 16-7 and the series 2-0.
The win sends MVP PK to Bangkok for the $100,000 Toyota Master event set to take place in the Indoor Stadium Huamark in the Thai capital from November 21-25.
